
J. Friend Honey Oat, yoghurt and berry parfait

Ingredients
A delicious breakfast treat or healthy dessert alternative!
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
1 cup large rolled oats
2 Tablespoons J. Friend and Co Honey
1 Tablespoon rice bran oil
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 Cup thick Greek style yoghurt
1 Tablespoon J. Friend and Co Honey
1 Cup fresh or frozen mixed berries or other chopped fresh fruit
J. Friend and Co honey to serve
Method
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
Place the honey, cinnamon and oil in a saucepan, heat until melted, turn off the heat and stir through the rolled oats. Spread the oats evenly over a baking tray lined with baking paper. Place in the oven and cook until golden, stir the oats occasionally to ensure even cooking. Remove the tray from the oven and allow to cool.
Divide the prepared fruit and place into the base of 4-6 parfait glasses.
Spoon the yoghurt over the fruit and sprinkle with the cooled rolled oats.
Place into the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavours to develop and the oats to soften.
Drizzle over some extra honey to taste and serve!
